Third North Lanarkshire Learning Festival

Planning is well underway for the third North Lanarkshire Learning Festival which will be held over two days in May 2017. The North Lanarkshire Learning Festival is the premier staff development event for education staff and partners across North Lanarkshire, and Wildside in Scotland is looking forward to bringing The Building Site and the work of the Kilsyth Woodland Centre to the proceedings. The aim of the festival is to provide quality professional learning experiences to inspire creative thinking and improve life outcomes for young people.

The Learning Festival 2017 will be held over two days – Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th May 2017 – in Motherwell Civic Centre. The programme will include inspirational, informative Keynote Speakers and seminars.The theme for 2017 is ‘Learners Today, Leaders tomorrow. On the second day (4th), North Lanarkshire will host a ‘roadshow’ event with keynote speakers delivering in two additional venues. – this is a school in-service day, and North Lanarkshire aims to maximise the number of staff and partners who can benefit from the programme.
