Play Events & Consultations
Developing ideas and plans for play space means involving prospective users and others who may be affected. Also, evidence of consultation is also almost always required by funders.
We can help you design, carry out and analyse consultation that is effective in communicating your ideas to others and bringing them on board and that involves children and young people in a meaningful way.
We can help with surveys and questionnaires, but also with interactive consultation including conversations and original and enjoyable events and hands on activities.
We worked with the Friends of Stepps Park, Glasgow to organise ‘Muddy Lark in the Park’, a successful outdoor winter event that gained the understanding and support of the wider community in the Friends’ vision for the future of their local park.
At The Lodge, Aberfoyle, local children worked with Angel the horse logger to build a giant brush maze.
At Mayfield Primary School, Dalkeith a temporary sand area convinced staff and parents of the value of sand.
At Riverside Primary School there were two Great Grounds Days when children, parents, neighbours and staff got together to complete and celebrate big changes to the school grounds.
